For our February meeting we will be meeting at TGI Friday’s in Kalamazoo. TGI Friday’s is located right off of US131 on West Main St. (M-43). Take exit 38A off of US131. TGI’s is on the north side of the road right between US131 and the Marathon Station. If you get to target you went to far, If you get to Meijer you went the wrong way.

The Christmas Party is always one of the most enjoyable events of the year and I always enjoy seeing so many of our Club members getting together for a good time and great food. As has been the case for the last few years, Carl & Teresa Lins once again have volunteered to host the party at their home. They have always been wonderful hosts and their hospitality makes the party just that much more fun. Thanks Again !!!!!!

The Party will be on Saturday, December 1st and will start around 6pm and go until ???? Please bring a dish to pass. Please bring your own drinks as it’s a BYOB. There will be many WMCC and Camaro related door prizes given away through out the evening, just remember to get your prize ticket when you arrive.
For those of you who wish to participate in Left-Right-Center game that has become a WMCC Christmas Party tradition. It has been asked that you bring with you at least 3- $2 lottery tickets to be given away as game prizes.

At some point during the evening we will hold our December Club meeting. We’ll start to talk about our activities for next spring and summer. Don’t miss this great get-together.

Yes, the September WMCC monthly will be a week earlier than our usual monthly schedule. We will have many out of town members staying in Grand Rapids for the Berger show and this will be our only opportunity for another Club photo out in front of the dealership (since the lot will already be cleared for the show the day before). Therefore, we will meet in the front parking lot of Berger at 10am on Sunday morning for our Club group photo. Setting this photo up is a fairly laborious task, so to make this go as quickly as possible, we are asking everyone to be on time and attentive as we arrange all the cars in a layout that will look good in the photo. This date change will also free up the upcoming holiday weekend for our members to do family activities over the Labor Day weekend.

After the photo shoot, we will head to Old Chicago’s just down the road for out club meeting & lunch. Old Chicago address is 3333 28th Street Grand Rapids, MI 49512. Depending on how the day goes, & how everybody feels we may take a Ice Cream cruise after the meeting.

We will be having the august meeting on Saturday August 11th at the GM/Delphi Summer Picnic, Car and Motorcycle Show. The was specially invited WMCC to attend this show. The show is Saturday, August 11, from 11am-4pm. On the Burlingame Ave. lawn and small parking lot The address is 2100 Burlingame Ave, Grand Rapids  MI. 49509. The the plant will be open for tours just two of those hrs. They are planning on buying shirts and given out plaques under the same principle as the Berger show. John told them we would bring at least 15 cars, if we get more that would be amazing, less would be fine also.

I’m meeting will probably be around noon.

We will be holding our July Club Meeting at the Adam Shafer Memorial Car Show in Lawton, MI. Meeting will take place around our cars at 11am.
The Adam Shafer Memorial Car Show is a special event organized by our members Ray & Jeannine Shafer. Adam was their son; and was a teacher at Lawton High School. Proceeds from the show will go to the Adam Shafer Memorial Scholarship Fund at Lawton High School. So you can see that this is an important and special event. Entry fee is $10. Please make plans to attend. The address to the Lawton High School is: 68443 29th St, Lawton, MI 49065.
Registration begins at 7:30am and awards are planned for 2pm.

Many of us have made the Lane Automotive Car Show an annual event. If you’ve been there, you already know why, if not, you need to check it out. And, best of all, it’s FREE! You can Preregister at www.laneautomotive.com We will again be meeting at the McDonalds off of Exit 39 on I-94 @ 6am to caravan to the show. We will be holding our June Club meeting at the Lane show. We will try to gather around the our cars around noon for our meeting.
The closest hotel is Safari Joe’s across the highway from Lane. The address for the hotel is 8258 Arnt Blvd Watervliet, MI. Their phone number is 269-463-7946. Staying here has made it much easier to be at McDonalds at 6am to meet with the rest of the group.

Our May Club meeting at the 48th Annual Mendon Dust Off car show, held at the Mendon High School parking lot, in Mendon, MI.

Many WMCC members will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Three Rivers on Saturday evening (April 30th). (Holiday Inn Express, 269-278-7766, 1-800-HOLIDAY)

It’s important that we arrive at the show early to get good parking places. We plan to leave the Holiday Inn Express in Three Rivers by 7:00am on Sunday morning! Leaving by 7:00am should put us in Mendon, and in our parking spots at the High School before 8:00am. There will be a Pancake Breakfast again, yum! We’ll gather together around our cars (or inside the gym, depending on the weather) at around Noon to have our Club business meeting. Be sure to bring your folding chairs!

For those not meeting us at the Holiday Inn Express, the show is located in Mendon, MI in the High School parking lot. Take M-60 east out of Three Rivers to Mendon (about 13 miles), stay on M-60 to Nottowa St. and go left on Nottowa (Wise Motors on corner). Go about 5 blocks and look for the football field on your right. Turn Right on the road that runs next to the field. Follow the signs. You have arrived at the Show. You should plan on being at the High School a little before Noon so you can attend the meeting. If the weather is nice, this is a nice and pretty big car show. One you shouldn’t miss. It’s a good way to kick off the season.

We have a fun activity planned for Saturday April 30th, so plan on getting to Three Rivers early.

For our April meeting we will again be meeting at Quaker Steak and Lube in Grand Rapids. We were there in Jan for our meeting and everyone liked it so much that we’ve decided to go back.

Like we’ve done for the last few years, we will be meeting at the Sam’s Joint Restaurant near Gun Lake for our March meeting. We will also hold our annual “Camaro Collectable and Diecast Show”.
Sam’s Joint Restaurant is located near Gun Lake. We’ll be meeting at 1:30pm on March 6, 2011. The address for this Sam’s Joint is: 2412 Briggs Rd. S., Middleville, MI. It’s located right near the entrance to the Gun Lake State Park. Their phone number is: 269-795-3965. After you turn to enter the State Park, turn left right away and Sam’s Joint will be just down this side road a few hundred feet on the right.
